Folding Pocket Mirror

This is a small version of my folding pocket mirror (2.25 x 2.25). You can find it for sale in my Etsy shop. I had so much fun making it!

I had been wanting to make these ever since my husband and I went to Japan. I found something similar in a cute little paper shop and decided that with my love for paper and creating things by hand...this would be the perfect item for me to sell in my shop!

I've tried selling other things before and my heart wasn't in it. After checking out several interviews on Etsy, and finding out that most people were saying to sell WHAT I WANT...not what I THINK people want...I realized that is exactly what I was doing. I was worrying so much about if someone would like what I had for sale and what color I should make something because what if someone didn't like that color, etc. It got to be much too frustrating. Once I let that go, everything seemed to flow so much easier! I discovered how much I love paper and decided to make that my medium of choice! Hunting for paper is my favorite past time! I love making things for people. My family and friends are always getting my newest creations. Etsy is such a great tool for putting my stuff out there even more.

Anyways...I'm excited.
